Frequently Asked Questions

Are my files really never sent anywhere?

No. Every conversion runs on JavaScript code loaded once by your browser, then executed locally on your computer or phone. You can check this yourself in the "Network" tab of your browser's developer tools: no request is sent when you add or convert a file.

Is there a file size limit?

There's no server-imposed limit, since there's no server involved. The only limit is the memory available on your device: a very large PDF or a long video can slow down an older or less powerful device.

Is the converted file identical to the original?

Text, headings, lists, and images are kept faithfully. Very complex layouts (columns, nested tables, custom headers) may be simplified during a Word-to-PDF conversion. Always check the result before an official use.

Can I convert several files at once?

Yes, in the Documents, Spreadsheets, and Images tabs: add several files, choose a format for each, then download them individually or all together in a ZIP file.

Do I need to create an account?

No. FiloConvert doesn't require an account or sign-up: open the page, convert, download.
